Update (Friday, 11 a.m.): A number of roads remind closed after heavy rains Thursday moved through Forsyth County.
- Intersection of Crooked O Trail and Quail Trail
- Intersection of Shiloh Road and Union Hill Road
- Old Federal Road, from Matt Hwy to Eagles Beak Park
- Oak Grove Circle (at Squattingdown Creek)
- Intersection of Nicholson Road and Old Federal Road
- 5285 Oak Grove Circle
- Tidwell Road, from Tidwell Circle to Tidwell Drive
In addition, numerous low-lying areas on the Big Creek Greenway are flooded heading south from the Bethelview Road trialhead, according to the Forsyth County government.
A flood warning remained in effect Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service. The flood warning is expected to continue until Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, snow flurries were spotted Friday morning as temperatures dropped into the mid-30s.
Update (8:41 p.m.): The intersection of Union Hill Road and Shiloh Road is closed to traffic, according to Forsyth County government.
Officials with Forsyth County say due to erosion from today’s flooding, Oak Grove Circle will be closed until further notice. The closure is between 5205 and 5285 Oak Grove Circle (at Squattingdown Creek).

- Castleberry Road/Ravine Forest Drive
- Settingdown Circle from 400 to Church Road
- 2605 Valient Dr. to Century Drive
- Tidwell Road from Tidwell Circle to Tidwell Drive
- Settingdown Road/Hampton Park Drive
