What a disappointment when reading last Sunday’s FCN regarding Commissioner Bell’s stance on Bethel Park.
It appears to me, Commissioner Bell is nothing more than a spokesperson for the YMCA.
He is a commissioner who could care less about the “precedence setting consequences” not only here in Georgia but throughout the country that would allow the Corps to disregard their own rules in favor of “private corporations” taking over public land, and his apparent lack of concern for existing Forsyth County regulations regarding roads, traffic conjestion, sewage disposal, etc.
Commissioner Bell, you should be fighting for the rights of all citizens of Forsyth County to keep Bethel Park open for public use.
Former Commissioner Rich-ards may have rubbed some people the wrong way but he knew right from wrong and had the guts to stand up for what is right.
Commissioner Bell, with only a few weeks in office you are a disappointment in my opinion.
