We have to stand up for the principles essential to nation

I believe that someone needs to stand up and be counted for the good of our country about what our president is doing to our country, and that someone is you and me.

He is pushing socialism at will at all of our companies that received TARP money. It looks like he wants everybody to give into him and be taken over by the government, which is a horrible mistake.

Forcing CEOs to leave their jobs and forcing companies that are owed millions of dollars to OK receiving 25 cents on the dollar is insane. Why do these investment banks say yes? Because he owns them with TARP money (our money) and they do not have the guts to say no and lookout for their investors.

The government should have never gotten into bailouts. They should allow the free enterprise system (that our country was built on) to work and get us out of this recession.

Have you see what our budget deficit is? $1.8 trillion. That is 1 with 12 zeros for a trillion.

You have not seen anything yet. Wait untilthey get their teeth into our healthcare. I don”t want the government telling me which doctor or hospital I have to go to and how long I have to wait before I can get an appointment. I guess they will also bargain with the doctors and hospitals and pay them 25 cenis on the dollar, so that in the long run the health pros will not take us at all.

Definitions — Free enterprise: permitting private industry to operate freely under competitive conditions with a minimum of government control.

Socialism: whereby private ownership of production and distribution has been eliminated.
