One person in a country of 300 million can file a law suit and have “so help me God” removed from an oath of office.
What can the rest of the 299,999,999 souls do to retain it or have it reinserted?
If one person can have something offensive to them removed from the oath of office, how can I have something just as ludicruous these days removed from the Declaration of Independence? Something like: “We the People.”
“We” don’t count anymore. It should be replaced with: “I, the most important person,” — for that seems to better reflect this country anymore.
