West Forsyth’s girls tennis team fell to 0-2 on the season with a loss to Class AAAAA powerhouse Milton last week.
The Lady Wolverines were defeated at all five positions, but coach James Hallewell was pleased with the performances he saw in only the second match of the year.
West’s boys team also dropped to 0-2 on the season with a loss to the Eagles.
The junior varsity Lady Wolverines went to 1-1 on the season after also suffering a 5-0 loss to Milton. West earned a 5-0 victory against Buford in the first match of the season.
West’s teams squared off against North Forsyth in an intra-county rivalry match on Monday (result not available) and will face Forsyth Central at Central Park on Thursday.
