Due to the inclement weather, the Area 7-AAA Duals have been postponed until Monday.

The wrestling tournament was originally scheduled to begin Friday and conclude Saturday at West Forsyth High School. It was then postponed to Saturday.

The new plan calls for a one-day tournament, beginning 11 a.m. Monday.

The Georgia High School Association has directed that the tournament be completed by Monday. GHSA will not, however, waive the five-match per day limit.

Accordingly, the region's executive committee has approved a modified wrestleback format that will allow all teams to participate in the area duals and avoid the match limit.

The tournament modification is as follows:

* A team must reach the semifinals to be in contention for the top four places in the tournament.

* Teams not reaching the semifinals will have the opportunity to wrestle back to as high as fifth place.

This setup also avoids a single-elimination format, providing each team at least two matches.
