Denmark High School announced two more head coaching hires on Thursday. Tyler Whitlock was named boys basketball coach and Ty Brown was named wrestling coach.

Whitlock comes to the Danes after spending one year as boys head coach at Johnson High in Hall County, during which the Knights went 7-19. Whitlock has experience coaching in Forsyth County, having spent time as an assistant and junior varsity head coach for West Forsyth head coach Fred Hurt. He also has experience as a girls head coach, spending two years at White County in that capacity.

Brown, who graduated from Sequoyah High in Canton, recently finished his first year as head coach at Creekview, where the Grizzlies won both the dual and traditional region titles and finished third at state duals and fifth at the state traditional meet. Brown served as an assistant on Lambert's staff the season before that.

Denmark, which is located in the southwestern part of the county, will open this fall and will compete in Class 4A.
