It didn't take long for Danny Edgeworth to get his first professional home run.
Playing in just his second game since being drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the MLB Draft, the former Lambert and Mercer University standout crushed a pitch to right field for a two-run home run.

Edgeworth is playing with the Boise Hawks, the Rockies' short season Class A affiliate that plays in the Northwest League. Colorado sent the 6-foot-3, 210-pound infielder there after selecting him in the 23rd round on the final day of the MLB Draft coming off an accomplished career at Mercer.
