After an undefeated regular season, it’s no surprise Lambert boys lacrosse had a record number of players named to the all-state team.
The Longhorns had a total of 10 players in all selected by coaches from across the state, led by FOGO Trey Arnold, defender Justyn Jean-Felix, middie Eric Overbay and defender Chris Price who were selected to the first team.
Long-stick middie Jaryd Jean-Felix and middie Matt O’Rourk made the second team, while defender Brady Berman, middie Jonny DiVirgilio, goalie Ben Stump and attack Alex Walker made honorable mention.
In addition, Arnold, Overbay and Price named one of eight high school All-Americans from Georgia, while Conrad McEvoy was named a high school academic All-American.
Lambert (17-0) begins the Class AAAAAA state playoffs Wednesday at home against Hillgrove at 6 p.m.
