Coaches: Jaime Fisher, Lambert; Steve Lenahan, Harrison.

Playoff history: Lambert – 3 appearances; Harrison – 5 appearances.

What to know: Both teams in this second round match-up authored upsets in the first round according to their playoff seeding. Harrison went on the road and edged No. 2 seed Langston Hughes in a 58-55 victory, thanks in part to shooting 28 for 34 (82.4 percent) from the free-throw line. Meanwhile, No. 4-seed Lambert took down Region 5 champion Pope in convincing fashion with four players scoring in double figures, led by Ashley Johnson with 16 points. The win gave the Lady Longhorns their first playoff victory in program history, and it’ll be hard-pressed to get No. 2 against a Harrison team that faced juggernauts McEachern and Osborne. Of course, Lambert could say the same about facing top-10 regulars North Forsyth, South Forsyth and West Forsyth during the regular season. Few gave Lambert a chance against Pope. Probably few will give it a chance against Harrison. After Wednesday’s result, who really knows?

What’s next: The winner will face the Archer-Tift County winner.
