Lambert rising senior defender M.E. Craven was selected to the National Soccer Coaches of America Associations’ South All-Region Team, which recognizes her as one of the top players in the Southern United States.

Craven was one of seven players selected from Georgia and was one vote away from earning one of the state’s two All-American spots. Those went to University of North Carolina commit Rachel Jones of Collins Hill and University of Southern California commit Jessica Haidet of Pace Academy.

Craven, an Auburn commit and the 2017 FCN Girls Soccer Player of the Year, was the defensive leader on Lambert’s first state championship team in program history. She added four goals and seven assists.
