Volleyball: Lambert sweeps Camden County to reach first state quarterfinal

KINGSLAND – Ally Hall had 11 kills and 12 assists as Lambert earned a 25-16, 25-17, 25-19 victory against Camden Camden County in the second round of the Class 7A state playoffs Tuesday on the road.

Lambert (30-12) advances to the state quarterfinals for the first time in program history. The Lady Longhorns await their next opponent after the remaining eight teams are reseeded Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Amanda Sinning had eight kills and Kailin Taggart had six kills, while Madeleine Bertz added seven aces and Kendal Barrett had 20 assists.

Jordyn Moellering had a team-best 22 digs.
