Last Season’s Stats: Took a redshirt year last season. In 2018, Perez started 53 games and hit .330, setting a school record with 23 home runs while driving in a team-high 68 runs. Perez was named to the All-Peach Belt Conference first team after his breakout sophomore campaign.

This Season: Perez hammered his first home run of the season Saturday during a 2-for-2 day against Auburn Montgomery. Perez also scored four runs, adding a double and three walks. In three games, Perez is batting .455 (5 for 11), with four RBIs, two doubles and five walks.
