Last Season’s Stats: Third on the team in hits (55) as a sophomore, compiling a .274 batting average and logging 28 RBIs. Also hit four home runs and scored 28 runs.

This Season: McCarthy has helped The Citadel to a 9-1 record through the first two weeks of the season, batting .310 (13 for 42) and slugging his first home run of the season Sunday during a 9-0 win against Saint Peter’s. McCarthy also has six doubles, six stolen bases and 10 RBIs this year.
