King’s Ridge wins if…it can block out the past. The Tigers have been outscored 80-7 in the past two games by two potent teams in Mt. Pisgah and Mt. Paran, so they know a game against last year’s region champion has potential to be a similar result.
Pinecrest wins if…it can rediscover efficiency on offense. Last week the Paladins were overwhelmed by Mt. Paran’s defense and only gained 98 yards. That’s not what the Paladins do. Ryan McCarthy should have the team rolling and hungry to score on every possession after last week.
