Pinecrest Academy at Walker

What to know: The Paladins had an intruiging start to the season, but coming off a bye week it probably feels like a second season is about to begin at Pinecrest as they travel off of Peachtree Parkway for the first time since a scrimmage at Wesleyan before the season.

Pinecrest challenged itself with games against Class 7A schools to begin the year, and will have a head up in the points standings for the Class A postseason thanks to those contests—a 52-0 loss to South Forsyth, which is now ranked in Class 7A again, and a 28-7 win over Discovery, which won its first game in program history last week.

Now region play begins at Walker, which has started the season 0-3. Since a historic season in 2012, the Wolverines have sunk back into a string of losing seasons and have just one win since September of last year.
