Pinecrest Academy announced on Wednesday the four members of its first-ever Hall of Fame class.

The inductees are:

  • Leanne Cassandra, a class of 2007 graduate who earned all-state honors in volleyball, basketball and soccer.
  • Christi Cassandra, a 2008 graduate who was also all-state in those three sports and holds the school record for career rebounds.
  • Michael Metz, a 2008 graduate who played football, baseball and basketball, earning four all-state honors in hoops.
  • Charles Wiggins, the current Horizon Christian Academy football coach who was Pinecrest's first athletic director, leading the Paladins to four state titles in Georgia Independent School Association competition and helping the program transition to the GHSA.

The inductees will be honored at halftime of the Paladins' football game against Walker on Sept. 15 and at a banquet the following evening. Pinecrest announced the formation of the Hall of Fame back in March.
