When, where:  Tonight, 7:30 p.m., at Alpharetta Stadium in Alpharetta.

Records, rankings: South is 4-0 overall, 1-0 in Region 6-AAAAAA and unranked in Class 6A; Alpharetta is 2-2, 1-0 and unranked in Class 6A.

Series history: Alpharetta leads 3-0.

Last meeting: Alpharetta won 21-0 in 2012.

What to know: After coming off an emotional win against Lambert, it should be interesting to see how South responds. The War Eagles will square off against one of the top teams in the region, which boasts a solid running game. Alpharetta running back Lem Cobbs gained 152 yards on 23 carries last week and should be the main focus for South’s defense.

South’s Cerberus running attack has overwhelmed teams. Grant Umberger (12 carries, 135 yards), Isaiah Williams (20 carries, 84 yards) and Tyler LaFlamme (14 carries, 85 yards) have carried much of the offensive load for the War Eagles and will do the same tonight.
