CENTENNIAL AT SOUTH FORSYTH

When, where: Tonight, 7:30 p.m., at War Eagle Stadium in Cumming.

Records, rankings: Centennial is 1-5 overall, 1-2 in Region 6-AAAAAA and unranked; South is 5-1, 2-1 and unranked.

Series history: South leads 2-1.

Last meeting: Centennial won 22-10 in 2012.

What to know: South is playing like a playoff caliber team. The War Eagles recorded their first win since 2005 over Chattahoochee last week and should continue their success against Centennial tonight. South has pounded opponents through the running game all season and is coming off a 347 yard performance. Isaiah Williams (149) and Tyler LaFlamme (128) combined for 277 yards last week.

Centennial’s defense has allowed 40 points per game and will have a difficult time stopping South’s power running game. The Knights rely on quarterback Matthew Harries to get the job done. The senior has thrown for 750 yards and will test South’s secondary.
