SOUTH FORSYTH AT CHATTAHOOCHEE

When, where: Tonight, 7:30 p.m., at The Arena in Alpharetta.

Records, rankings: South is 4-1 overall, 1-1 in Region 6-AAAAAA and unranked; Chattahoochee is 3-2, 1-1 and unranked.

Series record: Chattahoochee leads 6-1.

Last meeting: Chattahoochee won 28-24 in 2012.

What to know: South can rebound from its loss to Alpharetta by defeating an underwhelming Chattahoochee team. The Cougars beat Johns Creek in their previous game, but Johns Creek may be the worst team in the region after losing numerous seniors last year. However, Chattahoochee has historically given South fits and hasn’t lost to the War Eagles since 2005.

The War Eagles will rely on their usual stable of running backs. Isaiah Williams (431 yards), Tyler LaFlamme (301) and Grant Umberger (263) are ranked in the top-10 for rushing yards in the county. South quarterback Matt White has also started to heat up with a 140 yard passing performance against Alpharetta.
