South Forsyth recognizes 12 athletes who sign scholarships

Five more South Forsyth football players signed letters of intent on Wednesday to cap an historic signing class for the War Eagles.

Gabe Cleveland (Westminster College), Myles Ellis (Birmingham-Southern College), Alex Hardy (Reinhardt University), Briggs Hutcheson (Birmingham-Southern College) and Cal Morris (Lenoir-Rhyne University) brought South's 2018 class of football signees to 10, the most ever in program history. All helped the War Eagles go 9-2 this past season and win the program's second region title in the past three years.

Jessica Beil, Piedmont College volleyball

Sydney Bibby, Limestone College volleyball

Thomas Clark, Oglethorpe University men's lacrosse

Ian Hunt, Life University wrestling

Hannah McGlockton, Lindenwood University volleyball

Dylan Utter, Herkimer College men's lacrosse
