South Forsyth volleyball cruised to victories against Cambridge and Mill Creek at home in non-area matches Thursday.

The Lady War Eagles (2-0) dispatched Cambridge, 25-10, 25-16, before defeating Mill Creek, ranked No. 5 in Class 6A by one publication, 25-16, 25-14.

Against Mill Creek, junior Taylor Svehla led South with nine kills, Rachel Croce had six kills and Jordan Hawk added four kills. Kelli McCravy had 22 assists, while Tory Wright had 12 digs and Hannah Shanley added eight digs.
