Volleyball: South Forsyth defeats Milton, clinches sixth straight state playoff berth

Molly Bergin had 17 kills, 11 digs, four blocks and three aces as the War Eagles cruised to a 25-22, 25-18, 25-14 victory against Milton on Tuesday in the Area 5-7A tournament to clinch a spot in the state playoffs.

South advanced to face North Forsyth in Coal Mountain in the area semifinals tonight.

Hannah McGlockton added 15 kills and six digs for the War Eagles. Jessica Beil had eight digs, while Nyah Pacely had a team-high 41 assists.
