GAINESVILLE AT WEST FORSYTH

When, where: Tonight, 7:30 p.m., at The Den in Cumming.

Records, rankings: Gainesville is 0-0 and ranked No. 1 in Class 3A; West is 0-0 and unranked.

Series history: Gainesville leads 2-1.

Last meeting: West won 32-30 in 2012.

What to know: There’s no better way to find out where you are as a team than when you play the top-ranked and defending champion Class 5A school in the state. The Wolverines must fluster Gainesville quarterback and Clemson commit Deshaun Watson again in order to pull off the upset victory as they did last season when they forced Watson into throwing four interceptions.

West will likely rely on running back Trevor O’Brien to carry much of the load, while first-year quarterback Hampton McConnell must decipher the Gainesville defense. The Wolverines must play flawless football to pull off the upset.
