It’s been a year of transition for West Forsyth’s girls’ lacrosse team, but one important constant remains from 2013: the Lady Wolverines are again the Forsyth Cup champions. The Cup, which is awarded to the Forsyth varsity program that fares best versus its in-county rivals, was hoisted by West for the second consecutive spring after a convincing 13-6 win over Lambert (10-3) on Monday in an Area 3-AAAAAA showdown. The Lady Wolverines (9-3) will finish the regular season undefeated against Lambert, North, South and Central.
