Your Pie, the fast-casual pizza concept that started in Athens, is opening a location in Forsyth County on Peachtree Parkway in the Brookwood Marketplace.

A grand opening is slated for Sept. 7, but there are “Dine and Donate” events on Sept. 3, 4 and 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. During each shift, the restaurant will serve free pizzas for up to 200 registered guests and collect monetary donations on behalf of The Place of Forsyth County.

Your Pie was founded in 2008 by Drew French and now has more than 50 stores across the country, with about 50 locations in development. The brick-oven pizzeria uses hand-tossed dough, only fresh ingredients, homemade pizza sauces and salad dressings, and offers vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free pizzas, as well as traditional pizzas, chopped salads and paninis. The store also offers craft beer, wine and Italian-style gelato pairings.

“At Your Pie Cumming | Brookwood, we value community involvement just as much as great food and excellent service,” owner Tilak Patel said in a press release. “My hope for this store is that anyone who walks in our doors feels like part of the Your Pie family.”
