Lanier Technical College Forsyth Conference Center, 7745 Majors Road 7:30 a.m. Wednesday
Forsyth County business leaders and the general public are invited to make their voices heard during an event Wednesday.
The Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Pre-Legislative Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. in the Lanier Technical College Forsyth Conference Center.
The entire local state legislative delegation and U.S. Rep. Rob Woodall, whose District 7 includes some of south Forsyth, are slated to attend.
"We’re doing something a little different this year," said Lindsey Nelson, the chamber’s director of communications and events.
She explained that chamber leaders will be asking questions of each lawmaker in a discussion panel format.
"They’ll be specific questions relating to our community and what people want to hear about," Nelson said.
Each legislator will have a limited about of time to respond, and there will be an audience question-and-answer period at the end of the event.
Breakfast will be provided by Morrison’s Catering. Cost to attend is $5 for chamber members and $30 for non-members.
Nelson said those attending can pay at the door, but are asked to R.S.V.P. on the chamber’s Web site.
