SOUTHWEST FORSYTH -- Two DeSana Middle School teachers were awarded a total of $2,964 in grants from the Sawnee EMC Foundation.

Angela Pitt, an art teacher, will use her funding to supply students with the supplies and equipment to create clay art projects, and Nick Crowder, an instructional technology specialist, will use the grant to equip the media center with a broadcast news program that students will produce.
