The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to come forward for any information regarding a man who allegedly performed a “public indecency incident” at Auto Craze Car and Pet Wash on Keith Bridge Road in north Forsyth.
“This is a person we need to identify because he was doing a lewd act inside a dog wash,” said Cpl. Doug Rainwater.
The suspect – who can be seen in an edited video released by FCSO wearing sunglasses, an unbuttoned orange shirt with no undershirt and checkered shorts – was in the small self-service dog wash with a small black and white dog. Rainwater said the man could be seen masturbating in the unedited video.
“That’s why we did the BOLO because if he would do this type of thing in the dog wash, he’ll do it again,” Rainwater said. “He’s very prominent [in the video.] His face and his features are very prominent and the car he drives. We’re convinced somebody knows who this guy is.”
The suspect was seen driving a dark-colored Honda Accord.
Rainwater said the incident was reported on Saturday, April 27 by owners of the business – who did not see the suspect in person but later saw the event while looking at footage from a camera in the room – and authorities haven’t been able to identify the suspect.
“It’s still publicly accessed from the outside, and that’s what concerned the business owner,” he said. “Anyone could have walked in and seen him doing this … including kids.”
Those with information about the suspect should contact Detective Don Haff at (770) 781-2222, Ext. 2561 or through email at dehaff@forsythco.com.
