The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in finding a boat that was reported stolen last week.

A “be on the lookout” has been issued for a green 2002 Basshound 10.2 that disappeared from a Lake Lanier dock on Julian Road in northeast Forsyth sometime between June 13 and 15.

The boat features two black and white Minn Kota Trolling Motors, as well as a “Fish Easy” fish finder.

The vessel, whose hull number is LLT52045B202, has been entered at the Georgia Crime Information Center as stolen.

An unknown suspect removed the boat by cutting the chain that secured it to the dock.

Anyone with information should notify Sheriff’s Investigator Tyler Sexton at (770) 781-2200 during normal business hours. After hours, contact the dispatch center at (770) 781-3087.
