A Cumming man is being held without bond in connection with the shooting death of an Oakwood man earlier this month at a Dunwoody convenience store.

Cayles Nathan Berry, 36, has been charged with murder by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office for the March 12 death of 30-year-old Allan Wolfenbarger.

Berry turned himself in Monday at an undisclosed location, authorities said, and is in custody at the DeKalb County jail.

The shooting occurred at the Texaco gas station (click for map) at 4369 Peachtree Road, just off Interstate 285.

According to a DeKalb County Sheriff’s report, Wolfenbarger was found lying near the store’s entrance and a suspect, believed to be Berry, was seen driving away.

Video footage showed the men together inside the store before the shooting.

According to an arrest warrant, friends and family told authorities Wolfenbarger was meeting Berry for a drug deal.
