Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ronald Lofland is asked to call Atlanta Crime Stoppers at (404) 577-TIPS. Any information given that leads to the arrest of Lofland could result in a reward of up to $2,000.

A man suspected of shooting two people at a residence last month has been indicted on separate domestic violence charges.

Ronald Eric Lofland, 47, faces charges of family violence-aggravated assault and third-degree cruelty to children, according to a Forsyth County indictment report.

He reportedly made an assault upon a woman with a knife on Jan. 7 while there was a minor present, the report said.

The woman is the same victim in the May 30 shooting, in which Lofland is accused of fleeing the scene after injuring her and another male at a home on Darla Avenue, which connects 14th and 15th streets off Tribble Gap Road.

Both victims were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Deputy Epifanio Rodriguez, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office, said Lofland remains at large and is wanted for the May incident.

Atlanta Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to his arrest.

He reportedly left the scene in a gold 2003 Jeep Liberty, Rodriguez said, which was located abandoned on the side of the road early the next morning at the Buford Highway (Hwy. 20) interchange on Interstate-985 in Gwinnett County.
