ROSWELL -- The FBI is looking for the public’s help in identifying a man who they say tried to rob a Bank of America branch on Alpharetta Highway in Roswell on Friday.

They say the man entered the bank about 5 p.m. and gave the teller a note demanding money.

He is described as in his 40s, 5’8” – 5’10” in height, weighing approximately 165-175 pounds and wearing all black, including a black baseball cap with a logo on the front. He had a scruffy beard or goatee and was wearing dark-framed sunglasses.

Authorities are asking that anyone who recognizes the man call either the FBI Atlanta field office at (404) 679-9000 or Roswell Police at (770) 640-4100.
