Local authorities have arrested a man for inappropriate contact with two juvenile family members that took place earlier this month.

Michael Duane Nicholson, 49, of Cumming has been charged with two counts of sexual battery against a child under 16 and two counts of child molestation.

According to Cpl. Doug Rainwater, spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, detectives began investigating Nicholson last week and arrested him during a traffic stop near his home on Tuesday.

After being arrested he was taken to the Forsyth County Jail. Nicholson currently has no bond.
