Man faces child exploitation charges in Forsyth County Superior Court

A man has been indicted in Forsyth County on charges related to online exploitation of a child.

Seth Douglas McDonald was charged with six counts, including obscene internet contact with a child and electronic child exploitation from incidents dating back to Nov. 8-9, 2015, according to a July 11 indictment report.

McDonald reportedly used iMessage texting to “have contact involving matter containing narrative accounts of sexual conduct and sexual excitement” with a child under the age of 16.

The report accuses him of using a cell phone in an attempt to seduce the child.

He pleaded not guilty on July 18, according to Forsyth County court records.

Forsyth County Superior Court Judge David L. Dickinson is presiding over the case. No court date has been set.
