A Marietta woman was arrested after she allegedly sold heroin to an undercover narcotics agent, local authorities say.

Natara Marie Oard, 31, has been arrested and charged with several felony offenses, including sale of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, tampering with evidence and unlawfully crossing guard lines with narcotics, Forsyth County Jail records show.

According to Cpl. Doug Rainwater of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Oard was taken into custody after the Johns Creek Alpharetta Forsyth County Drug Trask Force received a tip from the community about drug activity and she allegedly made a hand to hand sale of heroin to a narcotics agent.

Rainwater said that they believe Oard worked full time in the Forsyth County area and would travel into the county from Marietta to work and sell narcotics.

After her arrest, Rainwater said that Oard was brought up on additional charges after she allegedly attempted to hide methamphetamine in her clothing and crossed the guard lines of the Forsyth County Jail with it.

Oard is being held in the Forsyth County Jail and currently has no bond until she makes a first appearance before a judge, Rainwater said.
