The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect in six recent nighttime burglaries.

According to the sheriff’s office, the white man is between 25 and 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 10 inches tall, 145 to 155 pounds and has medium length brown hair. He has multi-colored tattoos on his right arm from his hand to his elbow.

Over the last 10 days, the man has targeted gas stations and convenience stores in both north and south Forsyth, said sheriff’s office spokesman Doug Rainwater.

He’s stolen cash and lottery tickets, which he was seen redeeming at a local grocery store shortly after one of the burglaries, Rainwater said.

The county is also investigating a series of six burglaries that occurred at two shopping centers on Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning, he said.

The method of entry on those crimes was different than at the convenience stores, Rainwater said, so it’s believed to be unrelated to this particular suspect.

Anyone with information on the crimes is asked to contact the agency’s criminal investigations section at (770) 781-2200 or Investigator Tyler Sexton at (770) 886-2800, Ext. 3323.
