Dozens of vehicles, from antiques to exotics, will be on display at the Forsyth Central High Car Club’s Open Car and Truck Show on Saturday.
The eighth annual student-run event, set for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school, serves as a fundraiser for parts used in club projects.
Instructor Marlo Miranda said the group is looking to buy parts to turn a donated 1971 Corvette into a drag race car.
The show is free for spectators, with donations appreciated, and $20 to register a vehicle, which can be handled in advance or at the event.
Miranda said between 40 and 60 vehicles are typically shown. The show will also feature barbecue, door prizes and music.
“It’s going to be good food, good ice cream and some good music and nice cars,” Miranda said. “And good weather, hopefully.”
