In the face of icy conditions on roads that have been projected to develop overnight, Forsyth County Schools has announced a two-hour delayed start to school for Tuesday, Dec. 11, according to a school system news release. 

All Forsyth County Schools will start two hours later than normal on Tuesday. Pinecrest Academy, which follows Forsyth County Schools schedule, will start two hours later, too.

The release states that buses will run, but pickups will be two hours later than normal. However, all schools will end and release at their normally scheduled time. Before school activities, athletics and breakfast at schools have been canceled.  

The release also states that school employees should report two hours later than normal and that any specific school-related questions should be directed to school administration.
