As an added bonus to the recent spring-like weather, Monday is a holiday for Forsyth County Schools.
It’s the second of a possible three inclement weather days for the system.
The days are set aside each year to be used as make-up days in the case of weather-related school closures.
If there are no closures due to weather, as has been the case this mild winter, students and teachers get the day off.
They will report back Tuesday, with the next holiday period, spring break, set for April 2-6.
The system’s final inclement weather day will be April 27.
