1. Signing Day at South Forsyth

Across the county, a total of 39 high school senior athletes signed scholarships to play in college. Well, 40, if you count South buzzmaker Erin Loggins who "signed" with Georgia football. Just watch the video.

2. West Forsyth cross country

Forsyth County high school cross country teams had a banner year at the GHSA Cross Country Championships this season. West buzzmaker Dori Butler did a nice interview with a Wolverines runner coming off the team’s eighth place finish.

3. Cheering on Pinecrest Academy

It was also a big week for local high school cheerleading teams who competed in the GHSA Cheerleading State Championship in Columbus. Pinecrest buzzmakers Caitlin Randazza and Dani Quintana highlighted the Lady Paladins’ third-place finish in Class A.
