CUMMING — Cumming Dance Academy is wrapping up its 11th season with a week of end-of-year performances that will lead into a busy summer of classes, camps and intensives.

“We’re so fortunate to have so many wonderful students at CDA this long into business,” said Niki Watkins, owner and artistic director.

Eight shows will take place between Tuesday and May 31 at West Forsyth High School’s performing arts center.

The theme, “Wild Wild West,” will feature cowgirls, gold miners, prairie girls and outlaws. Show dates and times can be found online at cummingdanceacademy.com.

Summer dance kicks off in June. From weeklong camps to drop-in classes to three-day intensives, there’s something for ages 2 years and older. Dates and times are also on the academy’s website.

In addition, registration for the 2015-16 dance season has opened.

Classes are available in a variety of styles — ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, acro and theater, among others — at all three of the academy’s location for dancers ages 2 years to adults.

The website has class schedules and pricing. Registrations can be done online for classes beginning in September.
