SOUTH FORSYTH — Carrington Academy Windermere raised $275 for its Relay for Life team and the American Cancer Society through a raffle Friday.

Students raised the money by selling raffle tickets for the chance to cut off more than a foot of principal Tiffany Batts' hair, which was then donated to the nonprofit Children With Hair Loss.

The organization gives human hair replacements to children at no cost.

Here, Batts holds up her hair, which was cut after the school’s Trunk-or-Treat celebration.
