FORSYTH COUNTY — Golfers can carry their clubs for charity during an upcoming fundraiser in Forsyth County.

The sixth annual Bald Ridge Lodge Golf Tournament is set for May 26, with registration starting at 10 a.m. and a shotgun start at noon.

“Golfin’ for the Lodge,” which will be held at the Polo Golf and Country Club, will benefit the lodge, a state-licensed child-caring institution and safe haven for boys.

The event will feature an 18-hole tournament, a putting contest, raffle prizes and player gift bags.

Any lucky golfer who makes a hole-in-one will go home in a new car. Lunch and a reception will be provided after the tournament.

Registration is $150 for one golfer and $600 for a foursome, with sponsorship levels ranging from $125 to $1,000.

Special guests include NASCAR’s David Ragan and Forsyth County Sheriff Duane Piper.
