The Sawnee Association of the Arts unveiled the third installation of paintings in the grand jury and witness rooms of the Forsyth County Courthouse on Friday, May 10.

Dubbed "Flower of Forsyth," members of the local arts organization painted 15 original pieces, 12 for the grand jury room and three for the witness room.

The group collaborated with Forsyth County District Attorney Penny Penn for the project. Sawnee Association of the Arts president Kris Weeden came up with the theme, and members had 3-4 months to complete their paintings.

The pieces will be up for the next 6-8 months, Weeden said.
