NORTHEAST FORSYTH — A family festival this weekend will have so many animal-centered activities that attendees may think it’s raining cats, dogs and a petting zoo.

The Mutts & More Festival welcomes families and their pets to Warbington Farms, 555 Crow Road, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday for an event that will benefit the Humane Society of Forsyth County No-Kill Shelter.

There will be something for everyone — kid’s activities, petting zoo, hay rides, adoption pavilion, music, vendors and food.

Proceeds to the county’s only no-kill animal shelter will help care for the cats and dogs in the program.

The Humane Society is a nonprofit that does not receive state or federal funding or any donations from the national Humane Society.

Entry fees are $5 for ages 12 and older; $10 for ages 2-12.
