Frankie the Dog
“Frankie the Dog,” is a book series based on a real-life rescue dog of the same name by local author Marie Kirkpatrick.

The Sawnee Association of the Arts (SAA) will host an interactive reading of “Frankie the Dog,” a book series based on a real-life rescue dog of the same name by local author Marie Kirkpatrick, during the city of Cumming’s Food Truck Friday. The reading will be held in front of the SAA Art Center in Brannon-Heard House. All children at the reading will get a special “Frankie the Dog” coloring page and crayons and can submit their artwork for judging inside the Brannon-Heard House through June 22. Ribbons and prizes will be awarded at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 15.

When: 7 p.m., on Friday, June 7.

Where: Brannon-Heard House, at 111 Pilgrim Mill Road in Cumming
