Forsyth County’s 11th annual Play at the Park Family Fun Festival is set for noon to 5 p.m. today at Fowler Park.
The festival will feature a variety of family-friendly entertainment and activities including clown and magic performances, inflatables, food, face painting, petting zoo, drumming workshops and tennis activities.
About 3,000 to 5,000 are expected to attend. Organizer Laura Pate said the festival is so popular because it “offers a fun day for families to enjoy their community park.”
She added that the admission and many activities are free.
Some of the additions this year include booths from the local sheriff’s office and fire department, new shopping vendors and Big Thinkers Science Exploration performances.
The park is at 4110 Carolene Way.
