Search for wanted man underway in north Forsyth

Forsyth County authorities are now searching for a suspect who they say fled the scene of a wreck in north Forsyth on Monday morning. 

According to  Forsyth County Sheriff's Office spokesman Cpl. Doug Rainwater, a black male wearing a hoodie and pajama pants was involved in a traffic accident on Martin Road near Ga. 400 and White Oaks Academy at about 8:54 a.m., fleeing shortly after authorities arrived on the scene.

Rainwater said that they have determined that the man is wanted out of Hall County and the suspect is described as 5-foot-6, 165 pounds and 31 years old. 

He said that the search for the suspect is ongoing in the north Forsyth area and anyone with information should contact the Sheriff's Office immediately.
