Incumbent and Republican candidate for Georgia House District 25 Todd Jones will continue to represent parts of south Forsyth and Fulton counties, beating Democratic opponent Craig Meyer in the 2022 General/Special Election on Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Jones received 62.69% of votes (14,869 votes) between Forsyth and Fulton counties. Meyer received 37.31% of votes (8,850 votes).

Who is he: Jones has served as the state House District 25 seat since January 2017.

His reaction: “Thank you to the citizens of House District 25 for choosing me to continue to represent them at the Capitol," Jones said. "I will continue to work with our State Delegation and local officials to ensure we remain focused on the economy, education, transportation and healthcare. I hope all of my constituents know they can contact me via email or text if I can be of any assistance.”

On the issues: According to Jones' campaign site, he is a "relentless conservative" with values such as passing a responsible budget, investing in public safety, never raising taxes and expanding transportation options in Georgia.
